File Sizes Revealed for 7 More Nintendo Switch Games!

Hey everyone, Derrick here with a quick news update on the Nintendo Switch. The Nintendo Japanese website has been updated with file sizes for a various number of upcoming Switch games. And this gives us a better idea of exactly how big these games will be and how feasible it is to go all digital when it comes to the Switch. So thanks to this listing, we know that Puyo Puyo Tetris is 1.09GB, I Am Setsuna is 1.4GB, SnipperClips is 1.6GB, Nobunaga’s Ambition: Sphere of Influence with Power-Up Kit is 5GB, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is 7GB, and Dragon Quest Heroes 1 and 2 is a massive 32GB. This is on top of the file size we already know for the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, which is 13.4GB. And we wanna thank @pixelpar on Twitter for the various file sizes of all these games that makes it really handy to look at. So there are some pretty massive ones in here especially Dragon Quest Heroes 1 and 2 if that gets ported to the United States, and others are just taking up a lot of space so if you want to go all digital, and I’m pretty sure you guys already knew this, you’re gonna need to upgrade your Micro SD card. And it’s probably a good idea just to supplement it as well because we still don’t know about the Virtual Console, how big those downloads will be, and exactly what we’re in for there. So pretty interesting all around but let us know: Do you plan on getting a bigger SD card and do you plan to go all digital when it comes to the Nintendo Switch?
